Halloween on Queen is back — and so is our Costume Parade!

Join The Beach BIA for a fun, family-friendly afternoon along Queen Street East. Dress up the kids, dress up the dog (or yourself!) and come celebrate Halloween in The Beach.

The Costume Parade Returns!

Meet us at 1:30 PM at Ivan Forrest Gardens.

We’ll gather in the park before setting off just before 2:00 PM, walking together along the sidewalk on Queen Street East toward Kew Gardens.

Kids and pets are welcome — costumes are highly encouraged!

Once we arrive at Kew Gardens, the Halloween fun continues with trick-or-treat bags, colouring tables, cornhole and a visit from our special guest, the Robot Dog.

From 2:00–4:00 PM, families can also stroll Queen Street East and trick-or-treat at participating Beach businesses displaying the Halloween on Queen – Treats Here! sign.

Just before 2:00 PM — Costume Parade heads along Queen Street to Kew Gardens

2:00–4:00 PM — Halloween activities at Kew Gardens + Trick-or-Treat on Queen

Bring your costumes, your treat bags and your Halloween spirit for a spooktacular afternoon in the neighbourhood.

We’re kicking off the season with our Fall for The Beach Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, September 12.

Stroll Queen Street East and discover sidewalk finds, special offers and seasonal promotions from businesses throughout The Beach. Browse your favourite local shops, discover somewhere new and enjoy everything our neighbourhood has to offer on a beautiful fall day.

We’re extending patio season and making the most of those perfect early-fall days when the sun is still warm and the air is a little cooler.

After shopping the sidewalk sale, grab a coffee, meet friends for lunch, find a sunny patio or stay for dinner. It’s one of the best times of year to spend an afternoon in The Beach.

Already enjoying the waterfront? Come up from the boardwalk and keep exploring. Queen Street is just steps from the lake, with independent shops, cafés, restaurants and patios waiting to be discovered.

Our summer movie nights continue! Please note two changes to the 2026 schedule:

Both movies will be shown at Kew Gardens, with screenings beginning at sunset.

Movie Nights in The Beach returns this summer to Kew Gardens for six free outdoor movie screenings under the stars.

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join family, friends, and neighbours for one of The Beach’s favourite summer traditions. Set against the backdrop of one of Toronto’s most beautiful waterfront neighbourhoods, Movie Nights combines great films, local businesses, summer evenings, and community connection.

Before the movie, stroll Queen Street East, enjoy dinner on a patio, pick up your favourite takeout, or treat yourself to dessert from one of our many local cafés and restaurants. Then settle into Kew Gardens for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
