World in Bloom
June 13-14
Toronto is buzzing with energy this summer, and The Beach is ready to welcome the world.
Join us for World in Bloom: The Beach, a vibrant weekend celebration of walkable neighbourhood culture featuring shopping, gardens, patios, art, and local discovery along beautiful Queen Street East.
Stroll through our annual Queen Street East Sidewalk Sale, where local boutiques, cafés, restaurants, and small businesses spill out onto the sidewalks with special finds, seasonal treats, and one-of-a-kind neighbourhood charm. Spend the day exploring the commercial strip, relaxing on a patio, and discovering why The Beach remains one of Toronto’s most beloved summer destinations.
We are also proud to welcome visitors attending Through the Garden Gate: THE BEACH, presented by the Toronto Botanical Garden. Garden tour guests are invited to continue their day on Queen Street East to enjoy local dining, shopping, and our growing collection of self-guided walking experiences highlighting nature, history, biodiversity, architecture, and hidden pockets of peace throughout the neighbourhood.
Adding to the weekend atmosphere is the always-popular Beaches Arts & Crafts Show at Kew Gardens, where visitors can browse handcrafted goods, meet artists and makers, and enjoy one of Toronto’s most iconic park settings just steps from the boardwalk and beach.
From gardens to galleries, patios to parks, and local shops to lakeside sunsets — there is so much to explore and experience in The Beach this weekend.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
